3rd IGTPCT 2011:

Third Introduction-to-Game-Theory-POKER-Computer-Tournament 2011

A tournament for computer programs playing KUHNPOKER(3,4,2,3) is announced. The tournament is played in the knock-out system, where computer programs, from now on called "robots" play 200 rounds against other robots.

Every student should submit just one robot, and should provide

A nice sounding name for the robot,
The probabilities by which the computer player, having the first move, should raise when facing
- the lowest value card "J",
- a queen "Q",
- the highest value card "K".
The probabilities by which the robot, having the first move, should call (after having first checked and the the second moving player has raised), when facing
- the lowest value card "J",
- a queen "Q",
- the highest value card "K".
The probabilities by which the robot, having the second move, should call (after the first moving player has raised), when facing
- the lowest value card "J",
- a queen "Q",
- the highest value card "K".
The probabilities by which the robot, having the second move, should raise (after the first moving player has checked), when facing
- the lowest value card "J",
- a queen "Q",
- the highest value card "K".

Usually only one game from "Round of Sixteen", Quarter-Final, Semi-Final, will be executed before class. The rest of the games are executed at the teacher's home computer, but cheating will not occur.

The prize for the creator of the winning computer player is a box of self-made brownies.
