Absolute Value and two variables

Read Section 2.4. a) Then solve the system of equations

|x-1|+|1-5y| = 2

|2x+1|-|y-1| = 3

b) How many solutions would you expect in systems of the form

|x-a|+|y-b|=c

|x-d|+|y-f|=g

with a,b,c,d,f,g, any real numbers (but constants!)?
